2. In short

This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking or analytics tools and loads no third-party content unless you agree to it (YouTube videos, see section 6). Personal data is only processed when technically necessary to run the website or when you email us.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referrer URL and browser and operating system details, to deliver the website and protect it against attacks.

Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure and stable website). We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). More: Cloudflare privacy policy.

4. Email

If you email us, we process your email address, your name (if given) and your message to answer you. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request is about working together. We delete the data once it is no longer needed and no legal retention period applies.

5. Fonts

All fonts are loaded from this website. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other font services.

6. YouTube videos

Videos are first shown only as a preview image loaded from this website. Only when you click play and confirm "Load video" is the YouTube player loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Your IP address and device information are then sent to Google, and Google may store information on your device. Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Your consent is not stored and only applies to the current page view. More: Google privacy policy.

7. Links to social networks

Our profiles on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram are only linked. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of that platform applies.

8. Search engine notification (IndexNow)

When new pages are published, their addresses are sent to search engines via the IndexNow protocol. Only URLs of this website are sent, no data about visitors.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). An email to hello@starteasyliving.com is enough.

10. Right to complain

You can complain to a data protection authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany, www.ldi.nrw.de.
